UTair Airlines has tallied passenger volumes of its seasonal transport schedule for citizens of the southern Tyumen region. Flights to the remote areas in the Tobolsk, Nizhnetavdinsk and Vagaysk districts were performed by UTair Ltd, a part of UTair Group, in line with the Zabolotye programme implemented by the Tyumen region government in cooperation with the airline.

UTair Ltd has been performing air transportation in the region for 15 years. Each year from May to November the airline carries more than 7,000 passengers on flights performed with Antonov An-2 aircraft to 11 regional destinations.

'Being one of strategically important companies for the country, UTair pays a lot of attention to socially important flight programs and their step-by-step realization, including in the Tyumen and Khanty-Mansyisk regions' said UTair Ltd Director Sergey Dovgy. 'In the spring-summer season the Antonov An-2 aircraft is an irreplaceable component to the program, allowing passenger transport operations from remote areas to the regional centres.'
