Dave Micklas Named Branch Manager / Business Development Manager of Union Bank's New Shelburne Village Branch

Morrisville, VT- David Silverman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank, announced that Dave Micklas has been selected for the Branch Manager position at the bank's new Shelburne Village branch, located at 5068 Shelburne Road (formerly a Citizen's Bank location). The property is currently undergoing extensive renovations and is scheduled to open in October of this year. Union Bank's Shelburne Village location will be the bank's third office to open in Chittenden County since 2019, when it opened new branches in Jericho and Williston. It will be the only Vermont-based bank to operate a branch in Shelburne Village.

"We are very pleased to have Dave join the Union Bank team," said Silverman. "His commitment to the Shelburne community, coupled with his extensive banking experience and genuine affinity for excellent customer service position him perfectly as we look to serve new and existing customers in the Shelburne area."

Dave is currently working out of the Jericho office until the Shelburne branch opens. Once in Shelburne, he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations at the branch, including the management of all banking activity and services, along with managing the bank's business development initiatives.

A banker since 1996, Dave has been with NBT Bank for the past three years in their Williston office, and with Key Bank prior to that working in the Chittenden County market as a Branch Manager and a Mortgage Loan Officer. Dave has been an active member of the Rotary and resides in Shelburne with his wife.
