Unicaja Banco S A : and APAG Guadalajara collaborate to facilitate CAP processing and financial benefits to farmers

Unicaja and Asociación Provincial de Agricultores y Ganaderos (APAG) de Guadalajara have signed a new agreement with the aim of facilitating the procedures for the application of subsidies from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to farmers and livestock breeders in the province. Thanks to this agreement, they will be able to process the subsidies through APAG, taking advantage of all the means and technical staff of the organization, and benefiting, in turn, from important financial advantages in Unicaja, such as the advance payment of the aids.

Unicaja's territorial manager of Commercial Banking, Almudena Noheda, and the president of APAG Guadalajara, Juan José Laso, have signed this agreement, which will allow APAG members to carry out the CAP in the simplest way and with the maximum guarantees.

Likewise, APAG members who deposit their application file with Unicaja will be able to receive the amount of the aid in advance and benefit from the full range of financial products and services that the bank offers.

Unicaja has allocated around 800 million euros for pre-approved loans to cover the aid needs of the current CAP campaign. This offer is also extended with loans for the modernization and improvement of farms.

In addition, Unicaja has signed an agreement with the Government of Castilla-La Mancha to make special financing conditions available to farmers and livestock breeders in the region, with the aim of injecting liquidity into the agricultural sector.

Specialized services for farmers and livestock breeders

Aware of the great importance of the agricultural sector in Guadalajara and, by extension, in Castilla-La Mancha, Unicaja offers a wide range of specialized products and services under preferential conditions, thanks to the agreement signed with APAG.

Thus, it offers loans for agricultural investments, in order to support the projects of farmers to continue growing and increase their competitiveness. In addition, farmers can count on agricultural insurance, the Univerde card, which offers the possibility of flexible payments, and its traditional line of financing for intensive crops, among others.
