In Europe, the Home divisionhad record sales for the quarter of €38.1 million with organic growth of 7%. For the full-year this division delivered an excellent performance with sales of €131.2 million (+4.9%), a new historic performance for the Home sector.
The performance of U10 Group's Asia division was in contrast more mixed, with fourth quarter sales of
€18.4 million, compared to €20.5 million in the 2014 fourth quarter. China made considerable progress at the beginning of the year, achieving strong quarterly growth, though ending the year at a slower pace in the last quarter.
Sales for the full-year reached €85.8 million, up 11.6% (-6.8% at constant dollars).
2015 annual sales, that included a decline in sales in the Undergarment segment (-4.6%), ended the period
up 6.2% at€238.2 million.
Outlook
In Europe:The Home division is now on track. With its business model focused on the mass market segment and the particularly promising Home equipment sector, U10 is very confident in its prospects for continuing growth.
In Asia: The business model's vertical integration capabilities offer potential for development in three areas:
sourcing for the U10 offering
sourcing-trading for third-party customers
exporting U10 ranges to international markets through U10 Hong-Kong
Exporting Home division collections from Asia will provide the Group with a very promising growth driver for the years ahead.
2016will represent a year of growth for the Home division in Europe. In Asia, the business model is destined to evolve towards a gradual discontinuation of the basic Trading activity in favour of the international commercial development of Home collections created by U10.
Within 3 years, U10's identity and business model, with its two divisions for Europe and Asia, will evolve into a pure player as a supplier of international equipment for the home.
U10 is a creator, supplier and provider of logistics services in the Home equipment universe.
