Tokyo Theatres Company, Incorporated (TSE:9633) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 80,000 shares, representing 1.06% of its issued share capital (excluding treasury stock), for ¥100 million. The purpose of the program is to return profits to shareholders by improving capital efficiency and to enable flexible execution of capital policies in response to changes in the business environment. The program will run until May 31, 2022. As of September 30, 2021, the company had 7,530,033 shares in issue (excluding treasury stock) and 482,967 shares in treasury.
