Times Property : Incubator Receives "Excellent" Rating in the Assessment of Guangzhou ...

The Guangzhou Science Technology and Innovation Commission recently announced the results of the '2016 Evaluation of Guangzhou Technology Business Incubator.' The CHIDEA Technology Enterprise Accelerator, owned by Times Property, again received an 'Excellent' rating in the 2016 Evaluation of Guangzhou Technology Business Incubator, repeating its first in 2015. Chengze's Tech Business Incubator, which was established by Times Property in January 2017, successfully passed the evaluation and attained a certification on the basis of its initial entry.

A total of 177 technology business incubators in Guangzhou participated in this year's evaluation, but among them just 47 earned the 'Excellent' designations for their incubator services. Secondarily, 101 incubators earned the 'Qualified' assessment and 29 were evaluated as 'Failed.'

CHIDEA Technology Enterprise Accelerator

Located within the Times Innovation Park of Culture Complex in Baiyun District, CHIDEA Technology Enterprise Accelerator is one of three national-level technology business incubators in Baiyun District, Guangzhou. To date, CHIDEA Technology Enterprise Accelerator has been accredited as an 'Entrepreneurship and Innovation Exemplary Base for Guangdong Small- and Micro-sized Businesses,' 'Public Service Demonstration Platforms for Guangdong Small- and Medium-Size Enterprises' and 'Entrepreneurship Base for Guangzhou.'

In order to assist in the development of businesses at various stages, CHIDEA Technology Enterprise Accelerator has implemented a business incubator chain characterized by the sequence 'entrepreneurship cultivator - incubator - accelerator,' through which it provides incubator services covering the spectrum of business development, including incorporation of the startups, financial and tax consultation, services related to intellectual property, and entrepreneurship investment and financing.

More than 180 incubated enterprises are now contained in the CHIDEA Incubator, of which 42 have graduated, six have been listed and six have become high-tech enterprises. Additionally, almost 40 enterprises have independent intellectual property rights, and the number of intellectual-property projects exceeds 120.

Chengze Tech Business Incubator

Chengze Tech Business Incubator encompasses an area of 26,000 square meters, within which is a floor area of 67,000 square meters. Located in Times TIT Plaza in the core business circle of Dongpu, it is east of Tianhe District, south of Luogang District, west of Huangpu District and facing Haizhu District across the Pearl River. Its influence covers the area of the Tianhe business circle, Zhujiang New Town CBD, Tianhe Software Park, Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development District as well as other noted business locations. The incubator now has fostered businesses from the Internet, finance and culture sectors, among which are outstanding enterprises such as Qiqu, Huitouche, Lalami and Koudai Jianzhi.

In January 15, 2017, Chengze Tech Business Incubator has been approved by the registration and assessment of the competent Science and Technology Authority, and became Times Property's second technology incubator to be recognized by the Science and Technology Authority, following the CHIDEA incubator.

The two incubators of Times Property have demonstrated extraordinary performance while also bringing tangible policy benefits to enterprises throughout the parks. Enterprises incorporated on or after January 1, 2012, having registered office addresses at Times Innovation Park of Culture Complex or Times TIT Plaza, can apply for rental allowances for up to two years and guaranteed allowance for bank loans of up to RMB 500,000, as has been designated for assistance in enterprise development.
