Three Acre Farms PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company. The principal businesses of the Company are selective breeding, hatching, sale of commercial day old chicks (DOCs), both broiler (for chicken meat) and layer (for the production of table eggs), grandparent farm operation and commercial broiler farming. Its subsidiaries include Ceylon Pioneer Poultry Breeders Limited, which is engaged in renting the farm operation; and Millennium Multibreeder Farms (Private) Limited, which is engaged in operating poultry breeder farming and hatcheries, hatching and selling of DOCs. Its grandparent poultry farm imports grandparent DOCs, and it undergoes technology breeding, vaccination, feeding and selection. The Company’s farms include Meegoda Farm in Meegoda; Kosgama Farm in Kosgama; Halwathura Farm in Halwathura; Bulathsinhala Farm in Bulathsinhala; Hijra Farm-A and Hijra Farm - B in Beruwala; Ittapana Farm in Ittapana; Nillambe Farm in Galaha, and Makuluwatte Farm in Waga, among others.
