TOKYO - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced that the ISO9001 certification for the company's Nagoya Works (Nagoya-City, Aichi Prefecture), which had been withdrawn on August 5, 2022 (Scope of certification that has been withdrawn was limited to development, design and manufacture of induction motors.), was recertified effective March 18, 2024 following a reassessment by Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd. Notification from the Bureau Veritas Japan was received on March 19.

The ISO9001 certification (ISO9001:2015/JIS Q 9001:2015; registration number 4650106) is an international standard for quality management systems (QMS) published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
