The Bankers Investment Trust PLC announced the appointment of Ms Hannah Philp and Ms Charlotte Valeur as non-executive directors with effect from 1 November 2022. Both Ms Philp and Ms Valeur will also be members of the Audit, Management Engagement, Nominations and Insider Committees. Hannah Philp has direct and relevant experience within the sector, particularly in the fields of marketing and communication.

She is CEO and Founder of ARC Club, a neighbourhood co-working space which aims to support UK professionals that work remotely. Prior to this was director of marketing at Witan Investment Trust plc, a FTSE 250 investment company. She was also an account director within the investor relations team at Edison Investment Research.

Hannah is currently a non-executive director of JP Morgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc. Charlotte Valeur has more than 40 years of experience in financial markets and is the managing director of GGG Ltd, a governance consultancy company. Ms Valeur was the founding partner of Brook Street Partners in 2003 and the Global Governance Group in 2009.

Prior to this, Ms Valeur worked in London as a director in capital markets at Warburg, BNP Paribas, Société Générale and Commerzbank, beginning her career in Copenhagen with Nordea A/S. With significant experience in international corporate finance, Ms Valeur has a high level of technical knowledge of capital markets. Charlotte is currently a non-executive director, Blackstone Loan Financing Plc, Laing O'Rourke Construction, Digital 9 Infrastructure Plc, and NTR Plc and is a former non-executive director of JP Morgan Convertible Bond Income Fund, Kennedy Wilson Europe Real Estate Plc and Phoenix Spree Deutschland Plc.
