Superior Industries International Germany AG acquired an additional 5.5% stake in UNIWHEELS AG for $33 million.

Superior Industries Europe AG, formerly Uniwheels AG, is a Germany-based company which is engaged in the automotive parts industry. The Company develops, manufactures and sales alloy wheels and complete wheels for automobiles. The Company produces wheels using the low-pressure casting method. The wheels are destined for all passenger car target groups. It operates two distribution channels: Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Audi, BMW, MINI, Mercedes, Jaguar, Volvo and others, and Aftermarket under such brands as ATS, RIAL, ALUTEC and ANZIO. The Company also equips motorsport racing vehicles with wheels.
