Skyworth Digital Holdings Limited Announces Board Changes, Effective on April 1, 2018

The board of directors of Skyworth Digital Holdings Limited announced that with effect from 1 April 2018, Mr. Yang Dongwen will resign as a non-executive Director and Mr. Lin Jin will be appointed as an executive Director. The board announced that as Mr. Yang to devote more time to his personal commitments, upon expiry of his service contract with the company, he has decided not to renew his service contract and has tendered his resignation as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 April 2018. The board announces that Mr. Lin will be appointed as an executive Director with effect from 1 April 2018. He is currently a director in a number of subsidiaries of the company, including Shenzhen Coocaa Network Technology Company Limited and Skyworth Digital Co. Ltd. He is also currently a director (non-executive) of Skywell New Energy Automobile Co. Ltd. and Skysource (China) Investment Co. Ltd. and a number of their respective subsidiaries. Prior to joining the Group in 2011, Mr. Lin worked in MediaTek Inc. as a sales manager from November 2009 to October 2011 and Realtek Semiconductor Corp. as a system development engineer from September 2007 to September 2009. He has more than 10 years of work experience in companies primarily engaged in the business of designing and manufacturing electronics and electronic components. Mr. Lin is the son of Mr. Wong Wang Sang, Stephen, a controlling shareholder of the Company, and Ms. Lin Wei Ping, an executive Director.
Skyworth Group Ltd is a Hong Kong-based holding company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of smart television (TV) systems. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Multimedia Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sales of smart TV systems in China and overseas markets, as well as the provision and sales of Internet value-added services of Coocaa system. The Smart System Technology Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sales of home access systems, intelligent manufacturing, automotive electronic systems, lighting products, security systems and other electronic products. The New Energy Business segment is engaged in the sales and installation of distributed photovoltaic power stations for residential use in the client retail sector in the China market. The Smart Appliances Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sales of smart white goods, smart air conditioners, smart refrigerators, smart kitchen appliances and others.
