The Arlington, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 27 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 9 cents per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 27 cents per share.

The amusement park operator posted revenue of $292.6 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $298.4 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $39 million, or 46 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.43 billion.
