Number of Packages Handled in the Delivery Business
during July 2020
SG Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minami-ku, Kyoto; Chairperson and CEO: Eiichi Kuriwada) announces the number of packages handled by month in the Delivery Business during July 2020 as follows:

The number of packages handled during July 2020 was 121 million packages, +5.8% year-on-year. Although there was a one-day decrease in weekdays compared to the previous year, the number of packages handled increased due to the increase in BtoC packages, which was caused by the increase in e-commerce demands due to COVID-19. In addition, the number of BtoB packages was on a recovery trend as economic activities showed signs of picking up.

The number of packages handled through Hikyaku Express is the number of packages Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. reported to Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Other includes packages handled through Hikyaku Large Size Express provided by Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. and packages handled through other companies.
The total number of packages handled is rounded down to the nearest million, and the change % is rounded to one decimal place.
