POSITIVE PROFIT ALERT

This announcement is made by Sany Heavy Equipment International Holdings Company Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined in the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Future Ordinance (Chapter 571, Laws of Hong Kong).

Reference is made to the positive profit alert announcement of the Company dated 3 February 2020 (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise stated, capitalized terms defined in the Announcement shall have the same meanings when used in this announcement. The Board wishes to further inform the Shareholders and potential investors that, based on the preliminary assessment of the Group's unaudited consolidated management accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019 and other information currently available to the Board, the Company expected to record an increase in net profit for the year ended 31 December 2019 by approximately 45% to 55% as compared to that of the year ended 31 December 2018.

The Company is still in the process of finalizing the annual results for the year ended 31 December 2019. The information contained in this announcement has not been audited or reviewed by the auditors or approved by the audit committee of the Company. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to read carefully the annual results announcement of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2019, which will be published in due course.
