Sampath Bank PLC (the Bank) is a Sri Lanka-based commercial bank. The principal activities of the Bank include, accepting deposits, corporate and retail lending, project financing, trade financing, treasury and investment services, issuance of local and international credit and debit cards, offshore banking, resident and non-resident foreign currency operations, electronic banking services such as telephone banking, internet banking, mobile banking, payment gateway facilities, inward and outward remittance facilities, pawning, gold loans, leasing, factoring, travel related services and dealing in government securities among others. The Bankâs segments include Corporate Banking, Retail & Personal Banking, Dealing/Investment and Others. Its Corporate Banking provides advanced banking solutions and corporate advisory services. The Dealing/Investment segment offers a range of activities, such as stock broking, securities dealing, investment banking and foreign currency related services.
