Big Challenges-2018 summit ended in Sochi

The annual summit of young scientists and engineers 'Big Challenges for Society, State and Science' has come to an end at the educational center Sirius (Sochi). Taking part in it were representatives of from RSC Energia.

The participants in the event were 250 students from 78 universities of more than 20 regions of Russia - graduates of Sirius, winners and seekers of grants from the President of the Russian Federation.

The proceedings of the summit covered three key areas: artificial intelligence and information technologies, genetics and life sciences, cognitive studies and the quality of the human capital.

The students were addressed by a senior researcher with the GN&CS Dynamics and Software Department at RSC Energia Alexander Zykov who told them about scientific and engineering problems faced by the Corporation, in the solution of which the Sirius alumni could take part. The head of the personnel department of the company Ivan Drabinka presented programs of practical training and internship for students.

The summit of young scientists and engineers 'Big Challenges for Society, State and Science' was organized by Educational Center Sirius in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RF and Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education under Russian Federation Presidential Council for Science and Education.
