MRSK Tsentra i Privolzh'ya : IDGC of Center and Volga region continues to prepare the grid complex for the season of maximum loads

For 7 months of energy performed a complex repair of 137 substations of 35-110 kV. Renovated 5 497 substations with voltage of 0.4-10 kV and 20 545 thousand km of overhead and cable power lines 0.4-110 kV. Cleared 10 070 ha and expanded to 570 hectares of glades of air-lines (VL).

Only in 2017, the company plans to clear about 14.9 thousand hectares and extend over 879 hectares of overhead lines, repair more than 33.7 thousand km of overhead power lines 0.4-110 kV and execute complex repair 231 substations (SS) of 35-110 kV.

We will remind, timely and quality execution of IDGC of Center and Volga region maintenance activities improves the reliability of power supply of consumers, reduces technological losses of electricity, increases the efficiency of the grid complex and is key to the successful completion of the forthcoming autumn-winter period (AWP).

Check of readiness of all units and facilities of the company to work in the AWP off on August 28 and will include several stages. First, a special Commission, which will include heads and experts of technical services of branches of the Executive office of the company, as well as representatives of Rostekhnadzor inspectors of RUTN of the Volga branch of OAO 'rosseti' - the Center of technical supervision, will analyze the timing and volumes of production programs in 39 production offices (PO) of the electric grid complex.

The audits will be assessed the timeliness and completeness of repairs of main and auxiliary equipment, the implementation of the investment program, the state of buildings and structures, the willingness to conduct rescue and recovery operations in low temperature conditions, staffing of personnel with necessary safety equipment and warm clothes, availability, and willingness to use emergency stock of equipment, necessary materials, mobile reserve sources of electric power supply. It will also check the readiness for operation of devices of relay protection and automation, communications and process control. Completed work on the assessment of readiness FOR work in autumn-winter period 15 September.

The second stage of testing will be the test of readiness to operation during AWP nine branches of the company, and the concluding summative evaluation Commission appointed by the Ministry of energy of Russia, the readiness of the PJSC 'IDGC of Centre and Volga region' for reliable work during the upcoming winter peak loads.
