MRSK Tsentra i Privolzh'ya : Eugene Grabchak presented the evaluation criteria of the Rating, "Intelligent systems in power engineering"

Participation the meeting was attended by representatives of Institute of Development of the Internet, Minsvyaz, the Ministry of energy, Ministry of construction of Russia, Moscow Government, Institute of transport economy and transport policies, higher school of Economics, the companies 'Rostelecom' 'Yandex'. Eugene Grabchak presented the evaluation criteria of the Rating, 'Intelligent systems in power engineering'. He noted that in relation to electric power in addition to the previous basic task of ensuring the reliability, security and economy of supply, the new trends of urban development focused on ecological safety, improvement of quality of services and the development of the 'active' consumer.

In the report it was noted that the task of stimulating the introduction of smart technologies in infrastructure of generation and transmission of electricity lies primarily in industry and the Federal government. And the Ministry of energy is conducting in this direction, consistent work. In addition to energy were discussed at the meeting assessment criteria, covering areas such as 'Intelligent systems in Industry', 'Smart utilities' and 'Intellectual transport system'.

The event was articulated goals and timeline of the project, presents the main evaluation criteria and rating methods. The proposed method uses both the foreign experience of preparation of such ratings, take into account the Russian features. To date, the main focus is aimed at assessing the level of readiness of urban and industrial infrastructure to use smart technologies under the concept of smart cities in relation to four core areas: housing, energy, transport and industry. An important aspect is the efficiency of the use of smart technologies in urban management. Reference: the Project 'rating of the smart cities of Russia' is carried out by the Institute of development Internet (IRI). The main goal of the project is to highlight the technological leaders among Russian cities, the most effectively using smart technology to manage. This will allow to identify the most promising directions of development of the concept of smart cities in Russia.
