Based on audit results from PT TUV NORD Indonesia as an Independent Certification Body, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of the MIND ID Group, successfully maintained ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) certification.

This certificate is an international standard for a company management system committed to anti-bribery policies and controls, as well as PTBA's commitment to implementing the good corporate governance (GCG) principles.

"By implementing the Anti-Bribery Management System, PTBA prevents Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) practices within the organization. This, of course, increases stakeholders trust and adds value for the company," said the President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), Arsal Ismail.

With the implementation of ISO 37001:2016, Arsal requested that all PTBA levels cultivate the commitments of No Bribery (rejecting all forms of bribery and extortion), No Kickback (refusing to ask for commissions, tokens of gratitude in the form of money and others), No Gift (refusing to accept /give gifts or gratuities that are contrary to applicable regulations), No Luxurious Hospitality (refusing excessive reception and entertainment).

The Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) ISO 37001:2016 will support PTBA in achieving both short-term and long-term goals, obtaining maximum growth and returns, thus establishing a business that grows and develops.

"Finally, we can convince Shareholders and other stakeholders that PTBA has been managed well and appropriately," Arsal emphasized.

Not only implementing the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System, PTBA has also implemented a Whistle Blowing System, Code of Conduct, LHKPN Reporting, conducted GCG assessments by independent parties, maintained the trust of stakeholders, and implemented the principle of transparency to the public.
