Pick n Pay Stores Limited provided earnings guidance for the 26 weeks ended August 27, 2017. Group headline earnings per share are: expected to increase between 10% and 15% on a normalised basis, excluding the impact of the voluntary severance programme; and expected to decrease between 20% and 25%, including the impact of the voluntary severance programme. HEPS will increase between 90.67 - 94.79 cents per share, a 10% and 15% increase from last year. Diluted HEPS will increase between 87.86 - 91.85 cents per share, a 10% and 15% increase from last year.
