Pantech Group Holdings Berhad reported earnings results for the first quarter ended May 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was MYR 270.68 million compared to MYR 148.5 million a year ago. Net income was MYR 26.4 million compared to MYR 15.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MYR 0.0322 compared to MYR 0.0201 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MYR 0.0319 compared to MYR 0.0199 a year ago.

The Company operates through three segments: Trading, Manufacturing and Investment holding. Its Trading segment is engaged in the trading, supply and stocking of high pressure seamless and specialized steel pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and other related products. Its Manufacturing segment is engaged in the manufacturing and supply of butt-welded carbon steel fittings, high frequency induction long bends, stainless steel and alloy pipes, fittings and related products, machining and welding of tube and pipe fitting in special metals, and hot dip galvanizing, engineering fabrication works and manufacturing and trading of industrial consumable products and metal precision machining, engineering, and turnkey solutions. Its Investment holding segment is engaged in the investment holding, property investment and management service.
