OT Logistics Capital Group companies and School Complex No. 4 in Szczecin wish to cooperate in the fields such as apprenticeship organization, promotion of technical occupations among school students and their parents, development of vocational curricula and their adjustment to labour market needs. Furthermore, OT Logistics and Kolej Bałtycka plan to provide SC No. 4 with equipment, tools and materials for exercises and also to establish a workshop for students under their patronage and organize trainings for school-employed engineers.

The Home Army School Complex No. 4 in Szczecin consists of the Railway Technical College (commonly called 'Kolejówka' - 'Railly') and the Vocational School No. 3. These institutions prepare students to work as electrical technician, freight forwarding technician, automation technician, renewable energy devices and systems technician, port and terminal operations technician, etc. All vocational courses are carried out by experienced teachers and the school ensures access to modern vocational learning laboratories. The school cooperates with other educational institutions (for instance the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (ZUT)) and employers.

'The Railway Technical College in Szczecin, a part of The Home Army School Complex No. 4 in Szczecin, is a school open to cooperation with employers. The agreement with the OT Logistics Capital Group starts a new chapter of our school development. Its main goal is to support students when they choose their professional career. We want our graduates to enter the labour market with considerable expertise gained during apprenticeships and work placements organized at the Group companies. I also count on a fruitful cooperation both in educating young people and in exchange of experience between the Capital Group employees and the school's teaching staff,'Paweł Masłowski, the Head of the School Complex No. 4 in Szczecin, said.

'This agreement will ensure benefits for both parties - it will allow to improve the level of education at SC No. 4 in Szczecin further and also to create staff to swell the ranks of the Transport-Freight Forwarding-Logistics industry employees in the future,'Dariusz Trzciński, President of Kolej Bałtycka, said. 'Supporting education at The Home Army School Complex in Szczecin, we pursue our own advantage as well - we hope that students from SC No. 4 in Szczecin, thanks to the apprenticeship programme, will in the future be interested in continuing their professional career with the OT Logistics Capital Group. Although, due to growing train driver salaries, we now observe quite an interest in this occupation in the market, because of a crisis in vocational education in the last decades a generation gap in this occupation is evident. For example, according to our estimations Polish railway market lacks currently about 2 thousand train drivers and until 2022 another
2.5 thousand train drivers will reach their retirement age,'
Dariusz Trzciński, President of Kolej Bałtycka, added.
