Electronics
• Large-scale investments were continued to be made in Japan and Taiwan, and the
Organo Group received orders for major semiconductor projects in China and Malaysia.
Industry
• Sales increased due to progress on the construction of major projects.
• Greater foreign currency translation differences as a result of the depreciation of the
yen also contributed.
General
• Orders remained strong due to the trend toward recovery in large-scale capital
investments in Japan.

• Sales were affected by delays in procuring raw materials and in construction, etc.
