Oracle announces plans to invest more than eight billion dollars over the next 10 years to meet the growing demand for cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in Japan.

This investment will expand the presence of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in the country. In addition, to meet digital sovereignty requirements, the group will significantly expand its operations and support its teams with staff based in Japan.

In addition, Oracle reports a collaboration with Fujitsu, which will deploy its Oracle Alloy cloud infrastructure platform, including generative AI, as part of its Fujitsu Uvance Hybrid IT portfolio.
