OAT Agrio Co., Ltd. (TSE:4979) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 250,000 shares, representing 4.6% of its issued share capital (excluding treasury stock), for a total purchase price of ¥300 million. The purpose of the program is to strengthen shareholder returns, improve capital efficiency, and enable flexible capital policies in the future. The program will be valid till May 31, 2022. As of June 30, 2021, the company had 5,433,656 issued shares (excluding treasury stock) and 102,344 treasury shares.
OAT Agrio Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of fertilizers and pesticides.
