Nike named longtime Amazon executive Muge Erdirik Dogan as its new chief technology officer, according to a Bloomberg report. Dogan spent 16 years with online retail giant Amazon in a variety of roles before becoming president of Amazon Fashion in 2021, according to the report published Friday. Amazon has tapped Jenny Freshwater, a marketing executive who has been with the company since 2010, to take Dogan's spot.

Most recently, she was vice president of traffic and marketing tech, according to her LinkedIn profile. Dogan's departure from Amazon coincided with the company's plan to eliminate its physical clothing store concept, Amazon Style. Nike's former top technology officer, Ratnakar Lavu, left the company abruptly in February after three years with the company.

He is now a startup adviser in the Bay Area, according to his LinkedIn profile.
