Beddingen Finans AS agreed to acquire San Arawa S.A. from Nichimo Co., Ltd. (TSE:8091) on January 25, 2019. Under the terms, Nichimo Co., Ltd. (TSE:8091) will transfer all of 17.48 million shares in San Arawa to Beddingen. Nichimo will increase its current holding in San Arawa from 13.98 million shares to 17.48 million shares (from 80% to 100%) before the day of completion of this transaction, and will then sell its entire stake to Beddingen. For the year ending February 2018, San Arawa had net assets worth negative ARS 207.35 million, total assets worth ARS 706.43 million, sales of ARS 492.96 million, operating profit of negative ARS 87.72 million and net income of negative ARS 272.27 million. The deal is expected to close on February 28, 2019.
