NHOA announces that NHOA Energy, in consortium with Elecnor, has signed an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract to supply the 200MW/400MWh Blyth Battery storage system in South Australia with Neoen.

The system will be deployed primarily to boost output from Neoen's Goyder South Stage 1 wind farm, and to supply 70MW of stable renewable energy to mining company BHP, in particular at its Olympic Dam mine.

NHOA Energy will be the energy storage specialist within the consortium, while Elecnor will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical ancillary equipment. The project is scheduled to be operational in 2025.
