Nexans announces that it has finalized the acquisition of Reka Cables, a Finnish manufacturer of high-end low, medium and high-voltage cables, from Reka Industrial, after receiving clearance from the Finnish competition authority.

Reka Cables operates three production sites in Finland, which will complement Nexans' existing sites in Sweden and Norway. In 2022, it has reported sales of 172 million euros and EBITDA of 11 million.

'This acquisition will enable Nexans to assert itself once again as a pioneer in sustainable development, but also as an innovative player, offering safe, high-quality cables to its customers in the region', says the French company.
