MGB Berhad announced resignation of Dato' Abdul Majit Bin Ahmad Khan as Independent and Non Executive Chairman. Age is 78, Gender is Male, Nationality is Malaysia, Date of change is 15 January 2024. Dato' Abdul Majit was appointed to the Board of Directors as Independent Non- Executive Chairman on 1 August 2014.

His resignation is in adherence to Practice 5.4 of the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG) and the Board Charter of the Company, which stipulates that the tenure of an independent director should be limited to nine (9) years without further extension.
