RECENT TRADING ACTIVITY

The Board of Directors of Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited (the "Company") refers to the recent increase in the share price and trading volume of the shares in the capital of the Company ("Shares").

The Company wishes to inform shareholders of the Company ("Shareholders") that the Company is committed to sustainable growth to unlock and maximise Shareholder value by various means, including through improving operational efficiency, expansion of the Company's business, and constantly engages in discussions in relation to the foregoing to consider various opportunities.

Shareholders should note however that while there are such discussions as mentioned above, as at the date of this announcement, the Company has not entered into any binding agreement(s) in relation thereto and there is no certainty or assurance whatsoever that any transaction(s) will arise from these discussions. The Company will make the relevant announcement at the appropriate time and in compliance with the applicable rules.

In the meantime, Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Shares and to refrain from taking any action in respect of the Shares which may be prejudicial to their interests.
