The New Zealand retail segment includes activity associated with retailing of electricity and complementary products through its two brands: Meridian and Powershop in New Zealand. It owns and operates six hydro stations in New Zealand. It also has various wind farms and is also engaged in solar power generation across the country. It operates in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The Company supplies electricity to power homes, businesses and farms.
