New Owners New Opportunities

MaxiTRANShas today announced it has a large number of vacancies for immediate start at its Ballarat and Carole Park facilities. Job roles include Labourers, Trade Assistants, Welders and Fabricators.

In early September MaxiTRANS was acquired by Australian Trailer Solutions Group, (ATSG). ATSG bring a commitment to Regional manufacturing jobs, and comprise a group of Australian investors, including a number of Ballarat locals.

Greg L'Estrange, Executive Chairman said 'We are delighted to have finalised the purchase of the MaxiTRANS trailer making business. ATSG is committed to Australian manufacturing roles, and intend to be strong citizens in each of the communities we operate in. We have immediate vacancies and wish to cast a wide net, to ensure job seekers in Ballarat and Brisbane know about our new ownership structure and these new opportunities.'

'We would like to talk with experienced operators, school leavers, those looking to enter the workforce and those requiring training. Diversity and inclusion are key components of our recruitment vision. We would like to hear from those requiring specific assistance in the workplace, and ascertain what accommodations can be made to further open the work site to the community.'

'Our focus is ensuring we operate the business in an efficient manner. That means a stable workforce to help us reach our production schedules. We have a very strong order book for the next 12 months, and are investing in new job roles to ensure we deliver on time and at the quality synonymous with the MaxiTRANS brands.'

Evan King, CEO of the City of Ballarat, said 'We are delighted to have recently engaged with the new owners at ATSG. Their focus on the region and bringing jobs to Ballarat is incredibly positive for us as a City. The business appears to have strong leadership and a clear vision of what needs to be achieved in the next 12 months.'
