Kwang Ming Silk Mill Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 222.78 million compared to TWD 213.39 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 228.84 million compared to TWD 237.53 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 18.76 million compared to net income of TWD 26.61 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.46 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.66 a year ago. For the six months, sales was TWD 457.45 million compared to TWD 425.83 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 474.19 million compared to TWD 473.87 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 0.41 million compared to TWD 55.17 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.01 compared to TWD 1.36 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.01 compared to TWD 1.36 a year ago.
Kwang Ming Silk Mill Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and distribution of cloth. The Companyâs primary products include cotton cloth, artificial fibers, nylon fabrics, silk, polyester fabrics and weaving fabrics, among others. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the production of wedding dresses, garments, sports, casual wears, household decorations, curtains, industrial fabrics, recyclable polyester textiles and lining cloth, among others. The Company is also involved in the processing of fabrics, as well as the purchasing and distribution of fabric raw materials and products. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan.
