STATE COLLEGE, PA - William P. Hayes, Executive Chairman of Kish Bank and Kish Bancorp, has announced that Angela ("Angie") D. Thompson has been appointed to the Kish Bank and Kish Bancorp Boards of Directors. Thompson is the founder and CEO of Thompson's Candle Co., a leading manufacturer and national distributor of scented candles produced locally in Huntingdon, PA. She is also a partner in Three Twelve Kitchen & Cocktails and Gage Mansion Bed & Breakfast, both located in Huntingdon.
"I am excited to work with the talented leadership team at Kish, utilizing my entrepreneurial perspective to help support and grow Kish Bank's business and community endeavors," said Thompson.
In making the announcement, Hayes said, "It gives us great pleasure to welcome Angie to our Boards. Angie has demonstrated a deep interest in seeing Kish continue to grow and prosper in Huntingdon and beyond. We are confident that she will be a strong and engaged board member and will represent the Huntingdon region well." He continued, "Kish's board members are critical to our drive to deliver for our customers, team members, communities, and shareholders. Thompson is active in the Huntingdon community. In addition to having served on Kish's Huntingdon County Regional Board since 2018, she previously served on the Board of Directors of Huntingdon Landmarks, Inc. and was a founding member of Huntingdon's Wine Down Weekend. Additional volunteer work has included serving on the fundraising committee of the Huntingdon Arts Council and as co-chair of the annual J.C. Blair Hospital Auxiliary Gala. Thompson studied geology at Juniata College. She resides in Huntingdon with her husband, John.
