KGL Resources Limited (ASX:KGL) is pleased to report assay results from Rockface diamond drill hole KJCD481D3 (D3). As previously reported on 11 Oct 2021 and on 4 Nov 2021, this hole intersected a zone of massive sulphides, which included varying proportions of the economically important copper minerals, bornite and chalcopyrite. Assay results, just received, have confirmed the high-grade copper content of the mineralisation and have also revealed appreciable silver content. Figure 3 below details the D3 mineralized core annotated by the individual assay results.
KGL Resource is also thrilled to announce a new intersection of massive sulphides in hole KJCD481D6 (D6),
Figure 4 and Figure 5). The results for D6 are based solely on a visual inspection of the core. The core samples have yet to be assayed.
ForThe visually high-grade copper mineralisation in D6 occurs over an estimated true thickness of 4.0 metres1 and includes a hanging wall bornite-rich massive sulphide zone (0.74m) (Figure 1) and a footwall chalcopyrite-rich massive sulphide zone (1.84m). In a similar manner to D3, the massive sulphide zones are separated by weakly mineralized interburden (1.42m).
Table 1 below provides a summary of visual estimates for the massive sulphide intersection in D6 and Figure 2 shows the mineralized core trays with annotations.

KGL Managing Director, Simon Finnis, comments,
"Over 100,000 drill samples have been assayed for copper over the decades at Jervois and it is very
gratifying to obtain the highest ever copper assay in the most recent set of results from Rockface. Even
For | more encouraging is the fact that 3 follow-up holes drilled after the KJCD481D3 discovery have all |
intersected zones of copper - bearing massive sulphides. The most recent hole, KJCD481D6, appears
particularly significant due to its visually estimated high bornite content and it position 40 metres up-
plunge from D3, indicating a scale of the high-grade target beyond expectations from the recent down-
hole EM modelling. Considering the intercepts up and down plunge from D3 we have at least 85m of this
high-grade material now identified. Samples from D6 have been prioritised, but due to congestion at
laboratories Australia-wide, assay results are not expected for several weeks.
"Another revelation from the D3 assays was the association of very high-grade silver with the bornite |
copper zone.
"Follow-up drilling continues on the western side of Rockface while the second rig has now commenced drilling the shallower Reward Gap targets, including the potential to extend the resource envelope beyond the current limits of the Reward open pit as outlined in the Prefeasibility Study in late 2020".
This announcement has been authorised by the KGL Board of Directors.
