KAMAZ PTC and PJSC MOESK have signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the sphere of innovations at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The agreement provides for the development of a portable mobile accumulator based on a battery truck.

According to energy workers' preliminary calculations, the power of such a mobile accumulator for the power grid of Moscow's region should be 1 MW at least. With its introduction to the power scheme, it will be able to disconnect a customer from the bulk electric system without fear, excluding voltage surges. Such an accumulator will be able to sustain the necessary quality and reliability of electric supply long enough without a negative impact on the environment.

Conventional diesel generator plants produce emissions into the atmosphere and are an additional noise-maker. The agreement also stipulates an opportunity of providing energy workers with various innovative products and equipment of KAMAZ for experimental operation, by agreement of the parties.
