Japan Excellent, Inc. (hereinafter "JEI") announces today that owned property Bizcore Jimbocho acquired Building- Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS) evaluation on December 16, 2022. The details are as follows.

(Reference) Overview of BELS

In response to the establishment of the Assessment Guideline of Indication of Energy Saving Capabilities of Non-residential Buildings (2013) in October 2013 by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, BELS is a system that was started for the purpose of accurately evaluating and labelling energy conservation functions of non-residential buildings. The evaluations are conducted by a third-party organization based on the guidelines, and certifications are based on a five-scale system of one to five stars (★ to ★★★★★).

2. Future Initiatives of JEI

JEI and the asset management company retained by JEI will work to reduce the environmental burden and to cooperate/collaborate with stakeholders to achieve a sustainable society as a basic policy. We will continue to improve energy use efficiency, disaster prevention and security performance as well as convenience and comfort of tenants at owned buildings while cooperating with property management companies, etc.
