(MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced the purchase of Juniper Networks for $14 billion to expand the company's networking and artificial intelligence capabilities. This strategic acquisition is expected to transform HPE's networking portfolio and account for more than a third of its revenues and nearly 60% of its profit. At the same time, CEO Antonio Neri has pledged to maintain share buybacks and dividends, while reducing debt within two years of the transaction.
