Sydney, 27 January 2021 - GTN Limited (ASX: GTN) (Company or GTN), the largest supplier of traffic information reports to radio stations in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Brazil, wishes to advise that Mr Robert Loewenthal has stepped down as Chairman effective immediately as a result of the increasing work commitments and growth of Whooshkaa, of which he is Founder and CEO. Mr Loewenthal will remain as a Non-executiveDirector of the Company.
The Board have elected Mr Peter Tonagh as Chairman to replace Mr Loewenthal. Peter has a background as a C-suite executive in large Australian media companies, including as CEO of Foxtel and News Corp Australia, interim-CEO of REA Group and Chairman of Multi Chanel Network and was formerly a partner at The Boston Consulting Group where he led the Asia Pacific Organisation Practice and worked across media, consumer and financial services businesses.
William L. Yde III, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of GTN, thanked Mr Loewenthal for his contribution as Chairman and welcomed Mr Tonagh's appointment as the Chairman of the Company.
