Geopacific Resources Ltd. provided further updates on its successful grade control and resource extension drilling at the Woodlark Gold Project. The Company continues to receive positive results from its ongoing grade control and exploration drilling campaign at the Project. Further results from 23 holes in the grade control drill campaign at Kulumadau have been received, highlighting upside potential within the existing pit shells.

The results include a series of near surface high gram-metre intercepts within the Kulumadau pit. A further 25 holes remain completed, with assay results pending. Further results from seven drill holes in the resource extension drilling campaign at Busai were also received, with encouraging high grade intercepts.

All are within 82 metres from surface. The resource extension drilling results to date from Kulumadau and Busai reinforce the potential for pit extension, with all three planned pits at the Project open along strike and at depth. A further 5 resource extension holes from the Kulumadau deposit are awaiting assay.

Exploration drilling to the north and east of the current Kulumadau resource was commenced in February 2022 and is ongoing. There are currently 14 holes from this program awaiting assay. A reconciliation of the grade control model to the Mineral Resource will commence upon receipt of all outstanding samples.

The drilling campaign for the remainder of the first half of 2022 will focus on Woodlark's significant near-pit exploration potential within the existing mineral lease. Highlights: Trend of positive shallow high-grade results received from grade control drilling at the Kulumadau pit continues (all within 60 metres of surface), including: 080KUL145 with 37 metres at 5.59g/t Au (207 gram metres) from 8 metres; 080KUL175 with 26 metres at 7.38g/t Au (192 gram metres) from 34 metres and 9 metres at 20.2g/t Au (182 gram metres), from 20 metres; 080KUL167 with 9 metres at 15.5g/t Au (140 gram metres), from surface; 080KUL144 with 37 metres at 3.57g/t Au (132 gram metres), from 1 metre; 080KUL176 with 28 metres at 4.64g/t Au (130 gram metres), from 32 metres; 080KUL161 with 28 metres at 4.16g/t Au (116 gram metres), from 31 metres; and 080KUL134 with 21 metres at 4.72g/t Au (99 gram metres), from 32 metres. A further 7 drill holes received from the resource extension drilling at Busai (all within 82 metres of surface) with encouraging results including: BSRC21108 with 7 metres at 4.59g/t Au, from 41 metres and 7 metres at 1.70g/t from 50 metres; BSRC21091 with 9 metres at 1.24g/t Au, from 58 metres and 10 metres at 1.31g/t Au, from 71 metres.

A further 25 grade control holes and 5 resource extension holes from the Kulumadau deposit have been completed with samples currently in the laboratory awaiting assay. The ongoing drilling program is focussed on Mining Lease exploration, targeting significant near pit potential including high grade prospective areas within the Mining Lease with visible gold at surface.
