Notice of Establishment of Cross-border Management Executive Support Division

Frontier Management Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Co-Presidents: Shoichiro Onishi and Masahiro Matsuoka; hereafter the "FMI") will establish "Cross-border Management Executive Support Division" on January 1, 2022 under Management Executive Support Department, in order to strengthen the management executive support for clients engaged in the outbound and inbound business.

Notes

FMI has been providing expert teams with various solutions tailored to each client's business phase, including consulting, M&A, and business revitalization support. In the management executive support, FMI has supported to strengthen clients' management team by dispatching multiple consultants whose roles are management and corporate planning based on resident style.

In response to growing needs for management executive support after the acquisition of overseas companies by Japanese companies or the acquisition of Japanese companies by overseas companies, and based on the abundant cross-border support results, know-how cultivated in Management Executive Support Department and the policy, Cross-border Management Executive Support Division will be established under Management Executive Support Department as a specialized organization to strengthen the management executive support including business investment for corporate value enhancement of clients engaged in the outbound and inbound business.

In the outbound business, FMI will provide management executive support for Japanese companies expanding their overseas business, and have set Southeast Asia as a focus area. Especially in Vietnam and Singapore where Japanese companies are very active, FMI will strengthen the support by leveraging the knowledge and experience of Management Executive Support Department.

In the inbound business, FMI will provide comprehensive supports including business investments and dispatching executives from entry to growth phase at Japanese market (i.e., branch office establishment, M&A, PMI, new business development, business expansion).

With the establishment of Cross-border Management Executive Support Division, FMI will implement appropriate systems to strengthen the cross-border operations which is announced as the basic concept of the 2021-2023Medium-Term Management Plan.
