Flexsteel Industries, Inc. announced that Derek P. Schmidt will join Flexsteel and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer on April 6, 2020. Mr. Schmidt brings over 25 years of broad financial leadership and general management experience driving profitable growth across multiple industries, including over seven years in the furniture industry. Mr. Schmidt most recently served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Crescent Electric Supply Co.
Flexsteel Industries, Inc. is a manufacturer, importer, and marketer of residential furniture products in the United States. The Companyâs furniture products business involves the distribution of manufactured and imported products consisting of a broad line of furniture for the residential market. The Companyâs product offerings include a variety of furniture, such as sofas, loveseats, chairs, reclining rocking chairs, swivel rockers, sofa beds, convertible bedding units, occasional tables, desks, dining tables and chairs, kitchen storage, bedroom furniture, and outdoor furniture.
