Eurazeo announced that it has assigned the chief executive of one of its subsidiary groups to serve as its new head of investment partners in a bid to push it asset management activities. Christophe Bavière is currently the chief executive of Idinvest Partners, a private equity mid-market specialist. He will now become a senior managing partner within Eurazeo, as well as taking on the more senior role. The appointment comes as part of a strategic plan to better align Eurazeo and Idinvest Partners’ management teams. Eurazeo said this will strengthen its functions dedicated to institutional investors and wealth management structures in France. Bavière will work to consolidate the group’s role in France, while increasing its market share among international investors, particularly in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
