Eramet Announces Consolidated Operating and Sales Results for the First Quarter of 2019; Provides Production Guidance for the Fiscal 2019

Eramet announced consolidated operating and sales results for the first quarter of 2019. For the quarter, the company reported sales was €873 million against €870 million a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported manganese ore and sinter production of 1,005,000 tones, manganese ore and sinter transportation of 996,000 tones, manganese ore external sales of 776,000 tones, manganese alloys production of 191,000 tones, manganese alloys' sales of 175,000 tones, nickel production of 14,000 humid tones, nickel sales of 14,000 humid tones, nickel ore sales of 235,000 humid tones, heavy mineral concentrate production of 171%, zircon sales of 13%, titanium dioxide sales of 39% compared to manganese ore and sinter production of 885,000 tones, manganese ore and sinter transportation of 785,000 tones, manganese ore external sales of 684,000 tones, manganese alloys production of 179,000 tones, manganese alloys' sales of 168,000 tones, nickel production of 15,000 humid tones, nickel sales of 15,000 humid tones, nickel ore sales of 144,000 humid tones, heavy mineral concentrate production of 189%, zircon sales of 18%, titanium dioxide sales of 37% a year ago.
The company announced 2019 production targets confirmed 4.5 million tonnes of manganese ore produced and 1.5 million tonnes of nickel ore exported. The company intrinsic growth and productivity gains expected in 2019.

Net sales break down by family of products mainly between manganese (60.8%), nickel (30.6%), and mineralized sands (8.5%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (1.3%), Europe (20.4%), China (31.1%), Asia (29%), North America (12.4%), Africa (2.3%), Oceania (2.2%) and South America (1.3%).
