NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Equatorial Energia S.A. and Cia. Energética do Maranhão - CEMAR announce that, today, Fitch Ratings revised CEMAR's National Long Term Rating to AA+(bra) from AA(bra), with stable outlook. Simultaneously, the agency also revised to AA+(bra) from AA(bra) the Senior Unsecured Debentures issued by the Company.
In its notice, Fitch that has recalibrated its Brazilian National Ratings scale following successive downgrades of the sovereign over the last six months. The recalibration has resulted in several national scale ratings revisions for issuers in various sectors.
