(Alliance News) - Enertronica Santerno Spa announced Wednesday that it has signed a contract, with a leading Italian independent power producer, for the revamping of complete power stations related to utility-scale photovoltaic systems installed in southern Italy.

The signing of the contract confirms the company's particularly active role in the revamping sector through its Service division, which provides a complete range of products to modernize and make efficient photovoltaic systems installed in past years, regardless of the type of inverter installed.

The company points out that achieving the decarbonization and renewable energy production commitments undertaken at the European level will not only be a function of new plant installations - a sector in which Enertronica Ssanterno is certainly active - but, also of the modernization and recovery of productivity of the national installed base. In this particular sector, the company's competitiveness derives not only from the quality of its products but also from its ability to propose to the market engineering solutions specifically developed according to the type of plant.

The amount of the order, amounting to approximately EUR1.2 million, will be for the year 2024.

Enertronica Santerno's stock closed Wednesday at par at EUR0.84 per share.
