Board Changes

ECSC Group plc (AIM: ECSC), the provider of cyber security services, is delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Briggs as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. Matthew is an experienced business leader, including positions as Group CEO of AutoProtect Group, CEO of Minster Law Solicitors, Chief Commercial Officer for RAC, Divisional Managing Director in Aviva plc and CEO of Capita Insurance (part of Capita plc). He has also held a number of non-executive Chairman and non-executive director roles.

As part of the Company board re-organisation, Ian Mann will move to Executive Chairman, focussing on plc board effectiveness, and internally on cyber security strategy, product/service innovation, and development. In line with QCA guidance, this position will be temporary, and reviewed in light of future non-executive appointments.

As CEO, Matthew will be responsible for developing and executing the business's growth strategy, developing the senior leadership team, and expanding the channels to market with a heightened focus on strategic partnerships.

David Mathewson will move from Non-Executive Chairman to senior Non-Executive Director with responsibility for chairing the Audit Committee, splitting this role from Chairman in line with QCA guidelines. The composition of all of ECSC's Board committees will be reviewed at the time of future non-executive appointments.
