Eagle Financial Bancorp Inc. announced that its board of directors has appointed Patricia Walter as the company's new president. Additionally, the board of directors has nominated Adam Goetzman and Patricia Walter for the election to directorship at the 2021 annual meeting of shareholders to be held on April 20, 2021. Further, James Braun, chairman of the board, has said that he will retire from the board of directors following the 2021 annual meeting. Walter has been nominated to fill the director slot currently held by Braun. Walter's appointment as the company's president will be effective April 20, 2021. Walter will replace Gary Koester who has been president since 1996. Koester will continue as chief executive officer of the company. Following Braun's retirement, Koester will become chairman of the board. Having started his career at EAGLE.bank in 1977, Koester has held various positions at the bank, including being appointed as president and chief executive officer in 1996. Koester will work alongside Walter as she transitions into her new role as president. Walter, who was appointed as executive vice president of EAGLE.bank in July 2016, has previously served as the controller and also as the senior vice president of Finance for the former Cheviot Savings Bank.
