The Broomfield, Colorado-based company said it had net income of $4.16 per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, were $2.58 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.38 per share.

The footwear company posted revenue of $960.1 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $958.2 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $792.6 million, or $12.79 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.96 billion.

Crocs expects full-year earnings in the range of $12.05 to $12.50 per share.
